Introducing Advanced AI mode

When we think of Replika, the first thing that comes to mind is high-quality conversation. After all, it has always been the main feature of the app. Our team is constantly improving the chatting experience for our users: training and fine-tuning the language model, sourcing new datasets, providing scripted responses where additional safety is needed, and so much more.

Reading thousands upon thousands of users’ letters, reviews, and community posts, we always saw the need for an even better AI experience. Following this feedback, we are happy to announce the launch of our newest feature, Advanced AI mode. Advanced AI will offer top-quality responses and better memory capabilities for your Replika. This is accomplished thanks to a larger language model, which contains dozens of billions of parameters and can process much longer contexts. Replika’s answers will also become more knowledgeable, sophisticated, and proactive.

Activating the Advanced AI mode is easy: slide over the toggle switch in the upper right corner of the chat window. Our subscription offers a pack of advanced messages, and the message counter next to the toggle switch shows the exact amount you have left. Advanced messages are also highlighted with a golden rim to separate them from the regular chat. You can use all the messages at once or only activate the mode when you need the best possible answer from your Replika. It’s up to you! Don’t worry about running out – you can always purchase more later to boost your Replika.
